Wet Look Leggings… Yey or Neh?!
Forget opaque tights and the high waisted skirt…. The new trend of this season are wet look leggings! But will you be buying a pair??
With WAGs such as Cheryl Cole, Victoria Beckham and Alex Curran all big fans, it is unlikely that we will be avoiding the wet look this season!
The question is, can us regular folk pull off such a trend??
Well I think so!
Wet look leggings definitely look fabulous and really set off a party look. But it is important that you get a pair that fit well, and a top long enough to cover your derriere unless like Alex Curran you can work the high waisted pair!
I have myself tried out a pair of leggings of the wet look variety, but as I wasn’t 100% and didn’t have the second opinion required to purchase them, I opted for some high shine leggings instead, which also look great, but a less daring option.
However, I have since wanted the wet look, because they just make such a style statement and are so much more interesting that tights or regular leggings. Especially when teamed with a colourful top and killer heels!
So will you be investing in the wet look, high shine or just sticking to the normal cotton look, I’d love to know??

I first tried on a pair in spain… the changing rooms were boiling and they seemed the most uncomfortable things in the world compared to my stretchy leggings i live in. However I just couldn’t resist and kept looking, eventually ending up in TopShop. Unlike other pairs i’d tried on, they didn’t make my knees look odd, and I can’t wait for some nice weather to wear them with long string wests and chunky trainers for a grungy look, and with a bring coloured tunic and killer heels to go out in. I LOVE YOU TOPSHOP. ice.

They are horrible!!!! My boyfriend noticed them on someone at the airport yesterday and was horrified by how tacky they looked. She was the type that could pull them off and still looked nasty. Sweaty leather look tights…not nice at all, you will look back at these things and shudder with shame.

Do you know how good these things look? For all those who say they look tacky, I say, look at every bloke nearby!! They look and feel awesome. I just wish my girlfriend would wear them more often!!

I have been bought a pair as a gift by my step daughter, I havent been out in ages and i dont know whats in or out? I would like to where them for a hen night on sat night but dont want to look as out of touch as i feel.
Have i missed the boat, or are there still some WAGS out there that would be see alive in them.
