WAGs Boutique

Ten WAGs are to run rival London shops in the ITV2 series, WAGs Boutique, due to be broadcast from January 2007.

The England team’s WAGs attracted a considerable amount of press coverage during this summer’s World Cup.

Mentors will be advising the WAGS during the 13-week challenge. The winning team will then choose a charity to receive the shops’ profits.

The lucky WAG who makes the most money will get the opportunity to design her own clothing range.

ITV2 could not confirm which WAGs were to take part as yet. However, the programme director of ITV digital channels, Steven Andrew said: “The WAGs are a phenomenon and will become the talk of the town as they battle it out to see which of them has the determination, intelligence and staying power to run their very own boutique.”
