WAG-free Wedding
Elen Rives is to marry Frank Lampard, Chelsea’s midfielder next summer.
According to the Daily Mail the pair are off to Elen’s home city of Barcelona after the Premiership season, next May to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony - the complete opposite of his team-mate Ashley Cole’s wedding.
Shortly before they wed, Elen Rives is due to give birth to their second child (see previous post).
Apparently they are looking at a few venues close to Barcelona, to have a traditional Spanish ceremony in a church then moving onto a castle for the reception.
A close source revealed: “It is important for Elen to marry in Spain because she is a real home girl and Frank respects that. Getting married in England wouldn’t be an option for her.”
Unlike Andy Cole and Cheryl Tweedy’s wedding, which was swarming with footballers and celebraties, Frank and Elen are shunning the England team - with the exception of his best friend and team-mate John Terry and his girlfriend Toni Poole.
It is reported they are only inviting close friends and family - so no WAGs allowed. Our source continues: “Frank and Elen both got fed up with the whole thing during the World Cup, Elen doesn’t like the way they all try to upstage one another. She and Toni are very close, so she will be the only exception.

I love Elen ,she’s not a bitch as you said! Frank loves her to bits and is entirely devoted to her and Luna. She is beautiful and she seems sooooooo nice!

I wouldn’t say that she is a bitch, I just don’t like her. I soooo don’t want him to marry her, she’s NOT nice! I mean, obviously, i haven’t met her or whatever so i’m not going to judge her character but, I think he can do better. She got him tied down though, what with the baby and the second pregnancy, is it me or do all these women seem to be extra-fertile?!

Completely, I don’t like you said that she is a bitch. She’s the one whom our gorgeous man , Frank Lampard,love to..She will be married by him. Yes, I’m absolutely jealous with her. But what can I do?She’s so lucky. I just wish..she can do the best for our lovely Frank Lampard. I wouldn’t say extra fertile, but I reckon they defo do it on purpose. Either they lie 2 their boyfriends saying that they’re on the pill or they obviously don’t know what condoms are! Seriously though, how mny footballers have LEGITIMATE children??

Elen is not a bitch - lampard loves her and she is just doing what she thinks is right. let frank decide who he wants to date. everything must be going ok as they are marrying each other this year and they should be happy together with their two daughters, Luna, and their newborn girl, Isla.
