Victoria Beckham Guest Judge on American Idol
Victoria Beckham landed dream role as judge on American Idol but the WAG was criticised for being ‘too nice’!
The former popstar got the chance to guest appear on one episode of American Idol, following Paula Abdul’s departure from the show.
Victoria was very excited about the opportunity and said before the show:
‘I’m going to try hard to pout and not shatter the illusion that I’m a moody cow, but I don’t know if I can. I’m just so happy.’
She added: ‘I know how it feels to be stood there and be judged and how it can feel when nerves get the better of you.’ - It’s particularly bad when you can’t really sing isn’t it Vic?!!!
But the WAGs bubble was burst when critics accused her again of trying too hard, branding her ‘icy and wooden’.
We think the reason for Victoria not being very critical is because she was never exactly renound for her amazing vocal talent and so would be rather hypocritical.
Besides Victoria Beckham has never been the warmest of celebrities she always seems too nervous.
But one thing Victoria did manage to get in was a dig at Simon Cowell, she revealed: ‘He is the only man in the music industry who turned down the Spice Girls – and said we would never work. I like that fact.’
We like that fact too, well in Vic!
