Rio Ferdinand Lets An Owl Take Centre Stage At His Wedding
Rio Ferdinand is finally tying the knot with Rebecca Ellison with their wedding rings being delivered by an owl.
Ollie, the barn owl, is being trusted to swoop down the aisle with their rings in a velvet pouch, while the best man, wearing a falconer’s glove, will be ready and waiting for Ollie to land.
“This will be Ollie’s sixth time of delivering rings at a wedding and he’s never gone wrong” said head falconer Mike Roberts.
Sounds like a lot more fun than a ring cushion and will certainly brighten up the ceremony!
