Cheryl Cole Admits to Being in an Abusive Relationship
Cheryl reveals how she suffered from being in an abusive relationship when she was younger
The Girls Aloud star is happily married now to football star Ashley Cole, but Cheryl confesses to being in a very unhappy relationship during her teenage years.
Cheryl says: ‘As a teenager, I was in a really horrible relationship where I was emotionally and physically bullied by my boyfriend.’
She continues: ‘It’s degrading. When someone makes you feel small or humiliated, it’s probably the worst thing you can go through.’
Cheryl also opens up about being bullied at school because she looked different: ‘Kids mocked me for having dark skin and other little things like that,’ she says. ‘It just shouldn’t happen, full stop.’
Those bullies will being laughing on the other side of their faces now, I’m sure!
