Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe has admitted that she looked too thin in her Summer holiday pictures.

After bikini shots of the former WAG hit the papers this summer, the tabloids had a field day saying the star had an eating disorder.

Although this wasn’t the case, Jennifer does say she looked a bit on the slender side ‘I agree I looked a bit thin.’

‘I had lost weight, but you can always see my ribs, whatever size I am. I don’t carry weight there at all – it all goes on my bottom half.’

Jennifer continues: ‘People I knew would come up to me saying, ‘Oh Jen you look really thin!’ and it ended up getting to me so much. I thought, If one more person says that to me, I’m going to absolutely flip. I was eating!’

Six months on the Hollyoaks star has put on a little weight and looks a lot healthier for it: ‘I feel like I’m not too thin and not too big’.

Jennifer does have one body part she isn’t a fan of though, which is her bum, she says: ‘There’s nothing I can do about it! It’s quite a shelf, it’s got meat, it wobbles and it sticks out.’

‘Me and my friends laugh about it all the time. It takes up nearly the whole dancefloor! But that’s me and that’s what makes me different.’

She adds: ‘Every girl has issues with her body – you can look at the most perfect, skinny girl and ask them something about their weight and they’ll have a problem.’

A valid point Jen, but it’s not all about being skinny, more about confidence!!

Yep that’s right I said Amii Grove not Jennifer Metcalfe, man I can’t keep up with these ‘ballers they move on quicker than the WAGs.

So here’s the deal, read carefully it’s a little complicated.

Jermaine Pennant and Amii Grove (page 3 model) dated a while back, but the relationship ended after Amii caught Pennant cheating on her via their mansion’s CCTV with another woman. - Ha, classic!

Having been so heartbroken the ‘baller then moved on to Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe, who he was dating on and off until around June/July this year (we think).

Meanwhile, Amii did the classy thing of selling her story to The Sun about her time as a WAG.

Following so far, not sure I am!!

Then recently Amii’s brother Lee died in a quad bike accident, leaving Pennant feeling bad and sending his respects to the model. This then resulted in the pair dating again and Pennant proposing on a recent visit to Amii’s brother’s grave. How romantic?!!

‘We went to visit Lee’s grave and I was kneeling down laying some flowers when Jermaine bent down next to me and asked, ‘Do you want to get married to me?’.’

She added: ‘It’s been a tough year for the family. Getting engaged to Jermaine is probably a bit of good news that we needed. Lee would have been so happy for us. I never stopped thinking about Jermaine after we split up – and he feels the same way.’

There you have it, a modern day fairytale!!

I know this is a more dramatic story than usual. Jennifer Metcalfe was forced to flee a nightclub whilst on holiday in Spain, when a gunfight broke out!

You couldn’t make this kind of story up could you?! Apparently whilst the WAG was partying with friends at Nikki Beach Club in Marbella, two men who were thought to be British were shot in a fight.

A group of friends from Liverpool got in to a fight with another group of men, before the shots were fired. They were also thought to have attacked each other with broken bottles.

Makes you proud to be British doesn’t it!

Jennifer understandably left the club in tears after the incident, perhaps the fact that she was looking so blooming fabulous in a bikini will cheer her up and make me feel incredibly jealous.

Jennifer Metcalfe is currently dating Jermaine Pennant as far as we know!
