WAGs Boutique – Final Score

WAGs Boutique Update - Episode 4This week’s episode reveals who is the winner of WAGs Boutique. The show moves out of the boutiques and into the studio as the girls join June Sarpong.

But before we find out who is the winning WAGs Boutique, there is one challenge left to win.

As the score is 5 all, both teams have everything to play for and this week’s challenge required all 10 ten WAGs to sell the remaining stock, they also had to have a WAGs’ walk-off, modelling 2 outfits each on the catwalk..

With Bows winning last week’s challenge they have a slight advantage as they have £1,000 worth of football kits to sell, which is proving to be a big hit, especially Michaela’s kit.

Meanwhile at Better Half, Jadene is so impressed with a canine customer that she phones her husband Marc to ask for a dog.

WAGs Boutique – Fashion Show

With one more chance to sell the last of their stock, the WAGs get ready for the fashion show with their mentors on hand to provide some tips for their WAG walk-off!

The girls parade themselves down the catwalk, but half way through Better Half start to play dirty and throw a banana skin on the catwalk, which backfires on them as Charlotte nearly slips on it.

Next day at the shops, the girls realise this is their last day working together as a team and most end up in tears as they close the shops for good.

WAGs Boutique – Challenge Results

Back in the studio, June reveals the results of this week’s challenge, Bows sold £22,764.88, but Better Half sell a total of £24,658.02, making them this week’s winners and adding a total of £47,422.90 to their grand total.

With this win Better Half are the leaders of the challenges with 6-5, but there are still two titles to be revealed.

WAGs Boutique – Most Popular WAG

With the challenge now out the way, it was time to reveal the viewers most popular WAG - Krystell Sidwell and she won her own column in Reveal magazine! WOW – more work!
WAGs Boutique – Winning WAGs Boutique

Now it is time to find out who has won the crown of winning boutique, with a total profit of £320,916.77 the winner is Bows.

As Bows are the winners of WAGs Boutique all the profit from both boutiques go to their charity Great Ormond Street hospital, who will receive a total of £362,529.88. Amazing!

Unfortunately, this is now the end of WAGs Boutique, well for this series anyway.

WAGs Boutique Update - Episode 4With only 2 more challenges to go and the score now 4 all, this week both teams have to work extra hard to try and win this challenge.

The challenge this week takes the girls aboard, but they don’t have a clue where they are going.

WAGs Boutique – The Challenge

The girls picked for the challenge this week were Jadene and Charlotte from Better Half and Krystell and Michaela and Bows.

As they arrive at Heathrow Airport their destination is revealed, and they head off to Malaga to the house of PR legend Max Clifford.

Max reveals that they will have to create their own PR stunt and make it in the papers on Sunday.

WAGs Boutique – Back at the boutiques

Back at the boutiques there is another twist for the girls as they discover they will have new managers.

Fellow WAG and glamour model Michelle Marsh is manager for Better Half and serious business woman Tamara Beckwith is manager for Bows. Will they be able to cope with girls??

Tamara tries her best to control the girls, but is left tearing her hair out at the end of the day and the situation isn’t much better at Better Half as Michelle is left to man the till by herself, so she decides to shut up shop until the girls return.

Back on the challenge, the girls are trying to put together ideas of what they can do, Better Half have an idea to chain themselves to Buckingham Palace, but decide against it as it may end up being negative PR. Charlotte then manages to rope her friend and fellow WAG Danielle Lloyd into joining them and they get into their bikinis and speak to the paparazzi, who get the photographers organised.

Krystell and Michaela decide to dress as sexy bunny girls as it was Easter and meet with a photographer from The Sun.

Next day at the boutiques Michelle decides to take the girls out for a picnic lunch leaving the shop without any staff. Julie couldn’t believe it, so goes next door to help out but ends up selling some of their stock for only £5!!

WAGs Boutique – Challenge Results

The Sunday tabloids are out and the girls rush out to get them.

Better Half’s stunt lands them the front page of The Star, but Bows are no where to be found, and they realise that setting their heart on The Sun was obviously not a good idea.

The girls then head to HQ to find out who has won this week’s challenge. The mentors reveal they were not impressed with them this week at all, Lyn was furious with Better Half and Anna said Michaela should not be part of Bows.

Max Clifford (via satellite) revealed Better Half as this week’s winners, putting them back in the lead by 5-4.

As soon as the results were revealed all hell breaks loose and ends in everyone arguing (for a change).

With only 2 weeks left, the heat is now on!!

Will Better Half win next week to make them the overall challenge winners or will Bows close the gap to make it even more intense.

WAGs Boutique – 3 weeks until the winners are revealed

WAGs Boutique Update - Episode 4With only 3 weeks to go until the winners of WAGs Boutique is declared, the score stands at 4-3 to Better Half, so Bows are feeling the pressure.

This week’s challenge was set by Kitty Klaw, an international burlesque performer. The challenge this week is – to model, perform and auction burlesque garments, watched by the prominent movers and shakers of the burlesque world. The team that makes the most profit from the auction and what they sell in their boutiques on Saturday will be the winners.

The managers picked this week are Charlotte from Better Half and Krystelle from Bows, but there is a twist.

Before the teams go off to get started, it is revealed that Lyn and Anna will actually be the managers this week and Charlotte and Krystell are the assistant managers. Leaving the girls shocked and unhappy.

The managers choose the girls for the challenge – Cassie and Jadene for Better Half and Madeleine and Michaela for Bows.

Both teams head back to the boutiques, and the mentor’s intent to restore order to the stores. Anna wants to get Bows’ customers to leave with more than one item each, whilst Lyn has a stricter regime for Better Half with penalties for the girls who fail to work hard.

The mentors also decide to stop selling the charity tops in store and turn the stores into fashion boutiques again (charity items can still be purchased online from 13th April – click here).

WAGs Boutique – Preparing for the challenge

Michaela and Cassie get into their costumes, while Madeleine and Jadene watch trying not to laugh. The girls only have a short time to learn their routines, so they have to concentrate, which is usually quite difficult for Michaela!!

Once the girls are ready they head for the stage, Bows go first and Michaela starts her performance while Madeleine leads the auction, the bidding is slow and the girls have to work hard to sell their costume.

Cassie then performs with Jadene running the auction, they seem to have more success and win the first part of the challenge.

However, there are still more items to sell in the boutiques on Saturday.

WAGs Boutique – Back at the boutiques

Lyn is having trouble at Better Half and struggles to control Cassie and Charlotte as they disappear into Bows. Lyn threatens to close the store if they don’t return.

Anna feels sorry for Lyn, so sends the girls back to their boutiques.

WAGs Boutique
– Challenge Results

The girls arrive at head quarters to find out this week’s results. The mentors give their feedback, and as you would expect Lyn wasn’t too impressed by Better Half’s behaviour. But, Anna is delighted and says how fantastic her team is.

Kitty Klaw reveals the profits of the auction and sales in the boutiques and declares Bows as this week’s winners. Making the score now 4-4.

June also reveals that there is no manager’s vote next week and the mentors are asked to pick two girls from each team to do next week’s challenge.

Charlotte and Jadene are picked for Better Half and Krystelle and Michaela for Bows. They are also told they will need their passports.

WAGs Boutique – Hardest Challenge So Far

WAGs Boutique Update - Episode 4The girls challenge this week is to design an advertising campaign for their boutique; the winners get to see their campaign on billboards around London. The only request is that all of the girls feature on the design and they only have 24 hours to do it in!

The managers picked this week were Elle for Better Half and Krystell for Bows.

Krystell nominates Nicola T and Madeleine and Elle nominates Jadene and herself. As the girls are already in the offices of advertising maestro, they stay to get started while the others return to the boutiques.

WAGs Boutique – At the boutiques

The winners of last week’s challenge, Better Half receive their prize – two Scott Henshall dresses. They price the dresses at £250 each.

At Bows, manager Krystell has been held up; however Julie’s daughter has come into lend a hand in the shop for the day. When Krystell does arrive, she brings lots of goodies for the queue of customers to cheer them up while standing in the cold weather.

WAGs Boutique – Challenge update

Back at the advertising agency, the girls are busy working on their campaigns, but both seem to be struggling.

Nicola and Madeleine come up with a line they feel could be the winning advert – ‘How far would you go for fashion? As far as Bows’ and get to writing it on their board to see how it looks.

Meanwhile, Better Half choose the slogan – ‘No room for substitutes’ with a picture of their girls tearing Bows’ apart!

By the evening, the girls end up heading back to each others houses to continue working. By the end of the night the girls are finished – but very tired. They find this is definitely the hardest challenge they have had so far.

Next day, Jadene wakes up and realises she isn’t happy with their design so changes it to make it more simple.

With the challenge drawing to a close they head off to present their campaign to Trevor – or so they thought, when they arrived they realised he had invited 50 advertising’s top females to sit in and judge the presentations too.

Bows are the first up and make a really strong professional pitch, which surprises Trevor.

Better Half presents their campaign and Elle takes off her skirt to reveal she is wearing football shorts and socks! The girl’s idea is to have glamorous top half’s with footballer legs as their bottom half’s.

Trevor admits that both are very strong campaign, but who will win the challenge this week?

WAGs Boutique – Back at the bouqitues

After last week’s feedback from mentor Anna having a go at Michaela, Michaela decides to go out and buy new stock for their boutique. This really impresses mentor Anna this week and Michaela even turns up on Saturday at 9am to get started – has she turned over a new leaf?

Maybe not, she persuade team mate Julie to leave the shop without telling manager Krystell. When the girls return, Krystell is not happy and storms off to the toilet fuming.

WAGs Boutique – Challenge results

With the challenge now complete the girls arrive at head quarters to hear the results and feedback of this week’s challenge.

Trevor Beattie tells the girls he was very impressed with both of their campaigns and admits it was a very close decision. Although, there can only be on winner.

He reveals that Better Half made a fantastic pitch and Bows had an amazing creative. But, the deciding factor was the use of branding and for this he declares Better Half’s the winning campaign.

Better Half now lead by 4-2, so Bows will have to try even harder next week to catch up.

WAGs Boutique – The Vintage Challenge

WAGs Boutique Update - Episode 4This week’s challenge was to choose vintage clothes to sell at Portobello Market. With a total of 172 items, both teams have to pick 86 items each to sell on their stall.

The managers picked this week were Julie Philips for Bows and Charlotte Mears for Better Half. As usual, the managers pick two girls from their team to do the challenge, Julie picks Nicola and Krystell and Charlotte chooses Jadene and Elle.

Off the girls go to start their challenge and choose their 86 pieces of vintage clothing.

WAGs Boutique – At the boutiques

Back at the shops, Julie and Charlotte are laying down the rules, but both end up getting mocked by their team mates.

Charlotte seemed to be finding it difficult to control her staff. Cassie was sent out to get some lunch, but arrived back at the shop three hours later as she met up with Jadene for lunch. Obviously, this annoyed Charlotte and when Cassie finally got back to the shop, they ended up arguing and Charlotte burst into tears. Cassie said she just wanted to get her own back on Charlotte.

Meanwhile at the Bows, things were even worst for Julie. Michaela acting like a 12-year-old decides to play up Julie and go shopping while her team mates are left to do all the hard work.

WAGs Boutique – At the market

On Saturday, the girls arrive at the market really early to set up their stalls in the pouring rain. As the weather was pretty bad, the girls got off to a slow start. But Better Half make their first sale and there’s no stopping them. Bows even have to reduce all their prices to £1 to keep up with them.

After a hard day at the market, the girls call their managers and Nicola asks if she and Krystell can go home instead of going back to the shops. This doesn’t go down well with Michaela and she ends up shouting at Julie in front of all their customers and storming off home.

WAGs Boutique – Challenge Results

With the challenge complete the girls head off to find out who has won and to receive feedback from their mentors.

Bows mentor Anna Park, really lays into Michaela and said she should have been fired for the way she spoke to Julie, although Michaela doesn’t seem bothered.

The results are finally revealed, Bows sold £258.60 and Better Half sold a total of £497.27, making Better Half this week’s winners.

Now with the score being 2 all, both teams will be fighting hard to win next week’s challenge. Although, after this week’s arguments in Bows Boutique, I wouldn’t be surprised if Better Half takes the lead from now on.

Don’t miss WAGs Boutique next week – Tuesday on ITV2 at 9pm.

WAGs Boutique – Bows and Better Half open for Business

WAGs Boutique UpdateIn the third episode of WAGs Boutique, we see both Boutiques open for Business. The first day seemed to go really well for both teams, Better Half sold £1898 of stock and Bows sold £2048 of stock, so only slightly beat Better Half.

Second day wasn’t so good, when Better Half arrived at the shop they found someone had broken in and stolen two hand bags worth £500 each. Obviously they were a little shaken up and Jadene said she thought it was because people didn’t like her team, Better Half.

The girls had a visit from Jacqueline Gold, owner of Ann Summers to set the teams their first challenge. The challenge was to design their own websites and promote their boutiques in just three days.

Store managers were appointed, Madeleine Bowden for Bows and Heather Swan for Better Half.

Both managers then had to pick 2 members from their team to carry out the challenge set. Madeleine picked Julie and Krystell and Heather picked Jadene and Cassie.

Off the girls went to get started. The girl’s first stop was their website designers to discuss what they would like, Better Half seemed to know exactly what they wanted, however Bows were a little vague.

While the designers get cracking on the websites, the girls make a start on the second part of the challenge to promote their boutiques and new websites.

Both teams started by calling radio stations to get interviews, Cassie and Jadene managed to get quite a few interviews, but Julie and Krystell seem to be finding radio stations a little difficult. They did manage to get a couple of interviews, but on the first interview they forgot to mention where the boutique was and their website address!!

Bows then gave up on Radio and managed to get on Soccer AM, thanks to the help of their hubbys.

Back at the shops, Bows were having a nightmare, they had a leak in the stock room and had to get all the stock out quick before any got damaged and Michaela revealed that she had split up with her boyfriend Stewart Downing. Poor Bows, things couldn’t get any worse.

With the challenge coming to an end, both teams get together with their mentors, Anna Park and Lyn Gardner and Jacqueline Gold for feedback.

Better Half definitely impressed the judges with their website design and radio interviews, but Bows win by far with having more customers, selling more stock and getting more visitors to the website, they had an incredible 23,737 hits, three times more hits that Better Half’s website.

The prize for winning this challenge was a night at the Brits and getting to preview their second challenge before Better Half.

Next week on WAGs Boutique the girls get their second challenge. Don’t miss it!

WAGs Boutique – Episode 1

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

The first episode of WAGs Boutique was shown last night on ITV2.

WAGs Boutique UpdateIf you missed the show last night, here is a short run down of what happened:

The show started off with 7 of the WAGs meeting for champagne to get to know each other. The first 7 WAGs to meet were Jadene Bircham, Charlotte Mears, Cassie Sumner, Heather Swan, Nicola Tappenden, Julie Phillips and Michaela Henderson-Thynne.

After their introductions the girls were then taken to the empty WAGS boutiques at 33 & 34 Marshall Street, London.

To the girl’s surprise, a car then pulled up and Krystell Sidwell jumped out of the car to join the other WAGs.

Before they entered the boutiques, June Sarpong introduced them to their future mentors, Anna Park and Lyn Gardner. Anna and Lyn then had to choose one by one the four WAGs they wanted on their team.

Once the teams were picked, they were then taken to their boutiques to be shown around.

The girls were given the tasks of choosing their own WAGs boutique names. After hours of discussion the girls finally chose their names, ‘Eleven’ and ‘Bow’. After a few days the names were then changed to ‘Better Half’ and ‘Bows’.

The next task tested their fashion skills; the girls were given a short exam and let’s just say they don’t know very much about fashion! Nicola T got 0 out of 10 and the best score was 4 out of 10!

Two of the girls also had to dress a mannequin in 15 minutes, which proved amusing, particularly watching them struggle.

The two teams were taken to their mentors boutiques to have a bit of training, ‘Bows’ seemed to get on really well with Anna and she was very impressed by their skills. Lyn had the opposite experience, the ‘Better Half’ team was childish and disrespectful, and at the end of the day they left a pile of very expensive clothes on the floor of the changing room – Lyn was not happy.

Two girls from both teams then had the opportunity to go to France with their mentors to buy stock for their WAGs Boutiques, while the other two were left to man the shops and pick the designs.

While in France, Cassie Sumner and Michaela Henderson-Thynne ended up arguing over Cassie’s favourite fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.

The ‘Bows’ seemed to get on really well buying their stock; however ‘Better Half’ got bored and didn’t have much luck the first day. The next day Cassie Sumner then decided to show up 2 and a half hours late for their appointment, which Lyn was not impressed about. When they finally got to the appointment, they did manage to get some stock. Soon after, the WAGs headed back to England to their WAGs boutiques.

June Sarprong then got both teams together for an update of how they were getting on and to find out what the mentors thought of them. This ended in an embarrassing situation for June, when once again Michaela and Cassie started arguing, with Nicola T interfering. Cassie stormed out crying. Cassie seems like a spoilt brat that craves attention.

Once she returned to the group after her outburst, June had another surprise for them. Waiting in the next room were Elle Isaac and Madeleine Bowden to join the teams. Elle joined ‘Better Half’ and Madeleine joined ‘Bows’.
