Ever wondered what uber WAG Alex Curran puts on her skin to keep it so glowing and how she keeps her hair so pristine all the time…

.. If so we have the answers for you!

- Apparently Alex uses Avon’s Anew Rejuvenate Flash Facial Revitalising concentrate on her skin, and always drinks eight glasses of water to keep her complexion clear… How?? I’ve tried to do this but get to about five and feel like I’m drowning!!

- As for the hair, Alex says she doesn’t wash it everyday because she can’t blow dry her extensions herself, so visits a salon every couple of days to get it blow dried. Oh the luxury!!

- Alex also goes on to say that hubby Steven Gerrard’s is a fan of her legs so uses Fake Bake tan to maintain that lovely WAG glow!!

So there you have it, it’s not too difficult to gain that Alex Curran look, all you need is wads of cash for the salon and plenty of water!

Forget opaque tights and the high waisted skirt…. The new trend of this season are wet look leggings! But will you be buying a pair??

With WAGs such as Cheryl Cole, Victoria Beckham and Alex Curran all big fans, it is unlikely that we will be avoiding the wet look this season!

The question is, can us regular folk pull off such a trend??

Well I think so!

Wet look leggings definitely look fabulous and really set off a party look. But it is important that you get a pair that fit well, and a top long enough to cover your derriere unless like Alex Curran you can work the high waisted pair!

I have myself tried out a pair of leggings of the wet look variety, but as I wasn’t 100% and didn’t have the second opinion required to purchase them, I opted for some high shine leggings instead, which also look great, but a less daring option.

However, I have since wanted the wet look, because they just make such a style statement and are so much more interesting that tights or regular leggings. Especially when teamed with a colourful top and killer heels!

So will you be investing in the wet look, high shine or just sticking to the normal cotton look, I’d love to know??

WAGs Blog has been a little quiet of late, apologies for this, but we have been busy sorting out a new server so that our blog doesn’t take so bloomin’ long to load up!

Anyways on to more pressing matters like the fact there have been no end of WAGs in the press recently.

First of all there is a congrats in order for Gemma Atkinson and Marcus Bent who are engaged! Marcus reportedly proposed to Gem on a trip to the Lake District, which doesn’t sound very WAG glamorous does it? But luckily Bent made it up by buying Gemma a very blinging ring.

In other news Abbey Clancy dresses up as a Pussycat Doll for The Fashion Show, and reveals that she is more loved up than ever with Peter on Radio 1, much to Chris Moyles’ dismay.

The annual Cricket Fashion Show took place last week and of course the WAGs were out in force!! In attendance were (deep breath) Coleen Rooney, Claudine Keane, Lisa Carrick, Jude Cisse, Sheree Murphy and Alex Curran who can be seen above wearing a leather, ruffle Alex-type outfit.

Well when I say WAGs, I don’t mean all the WAGs in the land but a fair few, including Carly Zucker (below), Alex Curran, Danielle Bux and Kelly Brook. 

The celebs were out in force last night for the Pride of Britain Awards on a very windy red carpet.

So how did the WAGs fare in the fashion stakes?

Let’s start off with the worst, Alex Curran, two words ‘oh dear’. First of all she overdid the tan by the bucket load and wasn’t helped out by the white Victorian style mini-dress she chose, good shoes and tights though Alex!

Then there was Carly Zucker who made a rare appearance on the red carpet wearing an LBD, her usual bouffant and some dramatic make-up. Overall not bad for Carly, who usually gets it very wrong.

Now for two WAGs who do have style, Danielle Bux who looked great in a cream and brown body-con dress and heels and Kelly Brook looked as gorgeous as ever in a black tailored pencil skirt and top.

Also in attendance, Rachel Stevens, Tess Daly and Dannii Minogue.

The event is on ITV tonight!

Oh dear oh dear! There are no words to describe how awful this Carly Zucker outfit is!

Carly has been spotted wearing an outfit consisting of, brace yourselves, purple jeans, a denim shirt with purple trimming, black trainers, matching bag and a bouffant that Alex Curran would be proud of. I told you it was bad you have to see for yourselves!!

Perhaps the electricity in Joe Cole’s mansion hade cut out and the WAG had to get dressed in the dark, there is no other explanation surely.

It wasn’t as if she was just popping out for a pint of milk, Carly actually wore this ensemble to watch her fiancee Joe Cole play footy at Stamford Bridge.

The couple are due to get married later this year, I dread to think what the wedding dress is going to be like!

The WAGs were certainly out in force this bank holiday weekend, with both Coleen McLoughlin and Alex Curran hitting Liverpool’s night life, But not together!

Which is what I was hoping when I saw the headline, but it seems the girls are not all that friendly after all.

Instead Coleen was out with her girlfriends for a reunion, wearing a pretty blue puffball dress and some fabulous gold heels.

Alex Curran however wore a slightly odd monochrome dress which lacked any kind of shape, a huge red clutch bag and black ankle boots. Not her best look!

The girls partied at Newz Bar in Liverpool.

Wonder if the two WAGs shared a cocktail inside!

One pair who definetely wouldn’t be sharing a cocktail, is Charlotte Mears and Danielle Lloyd who were also out at the weekend.

And at the same club would you believe? Well yes because there are only a few bars that WAGs go to, to get photographed. The club in question Faces nighclub in Essex, what a shocker!

There was no news of any catfights, but Charlotte did her get her own back by showing of her new ‘baller boyfriend Craig Dobson, not heard of him? No me neither! Apparently he plays for MK Dons, so Char may need to swap her Fake Bake for Ambre Solaire for a while.

That’s right Charlotte Mears is a WAG once again, I would make more of this, but I can’t really be bothered, Danielle Lloyd will probably have her hands on him next week. Miiaow!

Alex Curran does something that is so rare on the WAG scene, she wore flip flops in public!

Then again if Victoria Beckham can wear flip flops, then it’s acceptable isn’t it.

Spotted again out in Liverpool this time for a trip to the hairdresser’s, Alex Curran wore a a white t-shirt, flared jeans and black flip flops.

Squashing rumours that Alex Curran is trying to keep up with new Liverpool WAG Claudine Keane.

Apparently this photo above was taken of Alex leaving her hair salon, but can anyone see a difference to her hair, because I can’t?!

Yes you read right, Alex Curran made a new friend today, in the form of a John Lennon busker!

Now there’s a sentence you don’t write everyday.

Whilst doing her very favourite thing (no not being photographed), shopping, Alex Curran was entertained by a busker dressed up as John Lennon.

As she walked down the Liverpool high street with what looked like the entire Cricket boutique, Alex stopped to join in singing Liverpool football chants with the Lennon lookalike.

And looked to be having a great time. Alex looked very trendy in a ruffled smock dress with a ruffled hem (at least that’s what the Daily Mail is calling it) and gladiator sandals.

It’s a good job she has been shopping again, because there is fear new Liverpool WAG Claudine Palmer is after her Queen WAG title. Don’t worry Alex she’s got a lot of walking up and down Liverpool to do yet!

Well she is Queen Bee now so it’s only right that I give you a little insight in to our reigning WAG!

In the interview Alex Curran reveals that she first saw now hubby Steven Gerrard in a nightclub when she was 19. Apparently after meeting eyes across the room, Stevie got his friend to call Alex and ask for her number but she said ‘No Way’ ‘I don’t know him’.

She finally agreed three months later and on their first date he came to her house, but they were both so shy they just sat together not speaking. – Really I didn’t see Alex as the shy type did you??

The WAG also reckons Gerrard asked his friends to call him during their date: ‘His phone kept ringing and I think he told his friends to call him to make him look popular’.

Things moved quickly for the couple and Alex Curran recalls the first time she saw herself in the News of the World, she says: ‘It was weird looking at myself – it didn’t feel real.’

She adds: ‘They were slating me because I was wearing a Juicy Couture tracksuit with legwarmers. Now when I look back, I think, “what were you doing?”‘

‘Now I hate going into Liverpool because I feel embarassed that people are looking at me. You feel like a big idiot in the middle of everyone. I see people edging over and I think, “please don’t try and speak to me now.”‘

So there you have it, Alex Curran is quite modest and shy, who’d have thought it?

Alex Curran has taken Victoria Beckham’s crown as Queen WAG!

To be honest I saw this one coming, I mean Victoria has gone stateside so we need a true Brit to take her place.

Tatler magazine has named Alex Curran the new Queen WAG, Tatler’s readers are usually the socialite type and has more credibility in its articles than say Heat mag (not that there’s anything wrong with Heat). So Alex must have been quite chuffed to hear about this.

The September 08 edition of the mag features a photoshoot inside Alex and Stevie’s home and an interview with the Queen herself.

Alex Curran reveals in the interview details of her relationship with the football star including how he proposed to her with a ring wrapped up in Lilly-Ella’s baby blanket. How cute!!

She’s a lucky lady!
