50K To Become A WAG

Anyone women with ambitions to become a WAG, will have to put away a tidy sum

WAGSVirgin Money claim that to catch a Premiership star’s eye and then keep him from playing away for the first year, aspiring WAGs must spend around £50K.

To compete with the likes of Abbey Clancy, Toni Poole etc, an average £28,815 will have to be sacrificed just to get settle things down, that includes £5,750 on a boob job, £7,050 on a designer wardrobe and £9,360 on body conditioning.

The survey also indicated that just £5,140 could grab you a League 2 journeyman pro, while Conference players can be had for as little as £512 in self improvements.

The elements identified by Virgin Money to make up the initial investment are:

Boob job - £5,750
Designer wardrobe - £7,050
Body conditioning - £9,360
Being seen in the correct places - £2,480
Makeover - £1,465
Accessories - £2,710

Ongoing expenses in the first year (at least) to keep the WAGs at the top of their games, according to Virgin Money, will be:

Hair care - £6,120 a year
Gym membership/personal trainer - £5,460 a year
Tan - £1,820 a year
Wardrobe - at least £6,740 per year
Nails - £650 per year
Booze - £490 per year
Trendy nightclub membership - £575 a year

    This sounds good. Would love to be a WAG lol. And I got premier class on that test ha ha.

    So all a girl needs is an investor prepared to front 50K bag the player, and maybe get a 200K per year allowance (as at least one WAG is alleged to) plus maybe a book and/or magazine column deal and interviews etc adding another 100K at least. So in first year of marriage u can pay back the investor plus 100% interest and still have 100-200k in your pocket for first year rising to full ammount in second. Plenty enough to cover the 21K requirement each year. Hmmmm so any investors out there?

    Trouble is I’m nearly 40 (albeit quite fit for my age) so I may need more for the makeover LOL.
